Abstract


The high ratio of debt to firms in Indonesia due to the cost of bankruptcy that may be considered to be too low than the average ratio between total debt and equity capital (Debt to Equity Ratio) is high enough and the unavailability of means to raise funds in the form of equity capital. In this study wanted to know the factors that influence the capital structure. Analysis of the variables of the study showed only tangibility variable positively related to capital structure in industrial sectors 1 and 3, the variable size is positively related to the industrial sector 1 and 2, while the growth and profitability are not related to capital structure.
